Assistant Principal

I am honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Rocky Ridge Elementary School.  As a child growing up in Buffalo, NY, I had always dreamed of becoming a successful educator.  For years, I would watch my mother as she worked tirelessly to help her students achieve, believe in themselves, and succeed and she never settled for anything less than their best.  As an educator, I wanted to be just like her.  In 2006, my dream came true and I have been living my life’s purpose ever since.  I am passionate about connecting with students and their families while doing whatever I can to make school a great place to grow and learn.

My husband and I have a daughter, two sons,  and a Scottish Terrier.  In my free time, I enjoy trying new foods from different cultures, reading, and running.  I start each morning by enjoying a cup of coffee outdoors and reading.  Two of my favorite books are What Keeps Me Standing by Dennis Kimbro and Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell.

I look forward to partnering with all stakeholders as we do whatever it takes to help our students become committed problem solvers and responsible citizens. As we work together, I am confident that we will provide every student at our school with a truly challenging and enriching experience in every classroom, on every day. #EveryStudentEveryMoment
