The 2016-17 school year marks my 20th year as a teacher with Hoover City Schools and my twelfth year as the Enrichment Teacher at Rocky Ridge Elementary School. Before coming to Alabama in 1996, I lived in Providence, Rhode Island and was a 5th grade teacher with the Wrentham, Massachusetts Public Schools.

At Rocky Ridge, I have many fun and exciting responsibilities!  I serve as an ELF!  Well, not really.  I am an Engaged Learning Facilitator in technology for our school. I have the opportunity to work with the teachers at Rocky Ridge to develop their technology skills and abilities.  I serve as the school's webmaster and I sponsor the morning broadcast show.

On a personal note...I live in Hoover with my four children and my dogs Honey and Ollie. Outside of the classroom I enjoy playing golf, scrapbooking and spending time at the lake and the beach.

I'm looking forward to a great year with my students!
